Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
WealthRise is built so that every visitor — including people using assistive technology — can use our calculators and read our guides. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing engineering responsibility rather than a one-time audit.
What we do
- Keyboard navigation: every interactive control (sliders, buttons, menus, the search palette, accordion FAQs) is operable with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Screen-reader support: semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA labels on icon-only buttons, and live regions for calculator results so updates are announced.
- Colour contrast: text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark themes.
- Reduced motion: visitors with “reduce motion” enabled see no large animations; all decorative motion is disabled.
- Resizable text: the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling up to 200% browser zoom.
- Skip link: a “Skip to content” link is the first focusable element on every page.
Technical measures
All calculator inputs are real form controls with associated labels. Charts expose text summaries and data tables alongside their visual representation. The colour theme toggle respects the visitor’s choice and does not rely on colour alone to convey information.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you encounter a barrier — a control you cannot reach by keyboard, a contrast issue, or a result your screen reader does not announce — please tell us via the contact page. We acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 working days and aim to ship fixes within 5 working days.
Compatibility
The site is tested in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, with the NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers. It is designed to remain functional in older browsers, though some visual polish may be reduced.
